I am a foodie. I love to cook. When I travel I eat way more than I should, because I just keep needing to try everything I pass, and I truly believe you can learn a lot about a culture through its food. When I go to restaurants I always share food, because that way you get to try more! Photographing food feels natural to me. It's a way of illustrating the passion of the chef, the feeling of the restaurant and the beauty of the ingredients. Unlike shooting people where it's all about connecting, food photography is a meditative experience that lets me go inwards and really focus on composition.
